This contract opportunity enables you to play a key role in the educational journey of four unique learners by providing targeted direct instruction and thoughtful consultative services.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing
- Previous experience working with school-age students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Knowledge of different communication modalities, including ASL and auditory-oral methods
- Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learning needs
- Strong collaboration and consultation skills with educators, specialists, and families
- Compassion, patience, and a commitment to student-centered education
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instructional services tailored to individual student needs, as follows:
- Student #1: 2 sessions of 30 minutes each per 6-day cycle, with a 30-minute consult monthly
- Student #2: 10 sessions of 30 minutes per academic quarter, and one 30-minute consult each quarter
- Student #3: 40 minutes of daily direct services, accompanied by a monthly 30-minute consult
- Student #4: 2 sessions of 60 minutes each day
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Engage in ongoing collaboration with classroom teachers, therapists, and families
- Document progress, participate in meetings, and provide recommendations for accommodations or modifications
