Sanitation Technician
Compensation: $22.50 per hour
Work Site: Ixonia, Wisconsin
Schedule: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Overnight shift)
Role Overview
Our 3rd shift team is looking for a meticulous and dependable Sanitation Technician. You will play a vital role in maintaining our facility by sanitizing production machinery and general areas, which directly supports our commitment to food safety and regulatory compliance. We are looking for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, possesses a knack for mechanics, and demonstrates the self-motivation required to work effectively without constant supervision.
Core Responsibilities

Perform deep cleaning and sanitization of production machinery, including kettles, pipes, and totes.

Maintain the cleanliness of facility common areas such as restrooms, offices, lunchrooms, and hallways.

Take apart and put back together production equipment to ensure every component is thoroughly sanitized.

Utilize cleaning solvents and chemicals in strict accordance with established safety protocols.

Support the onboarding process by mentoring and training incoming staff members.

Partner with the Maintenance, Quality, and Shipping teams to help optimize operational flow and resolve challenges.

Uphold all internal company guidelines and safety mandates.

Ensure personal protective equipment is utilized consistently during all tasks.

Communicate any sanitation hazards or equipment malfunctions to management immediately.

Help uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality for our products.

Complete other tasks as requested by leadership.
Required Qualifications

Previous background in industrial cleaning or sanitation is highly desirable.

Demonstrated mechanical ability and comfort interacting with production hardware.

High level of precision and a dedication to maintaining food safety standards.

Proven capacity to function well both individually and within a group setting.

Strong capabilities in time management, planning, and organization.

Ability to resolve issues effectively while maintaining professional communication.

Physical Demands

Capacity to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Capability to remain on your feet, walk, reach, bend, and twist for the duration of your shift.
