Position Summary
The General Laborer supports daily operations within our precast concrete manufacturing facility. This position plays a vital role in the production process by assisting with forming, pouring, finishing, and handling precast concrete products. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of concrete forms and molds
- Prepare molds for pouring, including cleaning, oiling, and assembly
- Support concrete pouring, vibrating, finishing, and curing processes
- Strip forms and assist with product patching and finishing
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely
- Maintain a clean and organized production area
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, machine operators, and quality control teams
Qualifications
- Previous construction, manufacturing, or concrete experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
