Manoli in the Gove is currently seeking passionate, energetic, and hospitality-driven Servers to join our opening team. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, casual dining environment and are committed to creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality.
A love for Greek culture and cuisine is a major plus, and speaking Greek is considered a great asset. This is an exciting opportunity to grow within a new restaurant concept focused on elevated Greek dining, warm hospitality, and a vibrant team culture.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and guide them through the Manoli dining experience with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Present menus, answer questions regarding food, wine, cocktails, and daily specials, including dietary restrictions & substitutions.
- Accurately enter food and beverage orders into TOAST POS system while maintaining strong communication with kitchen and bar team.
- Deliver food and beverages efficiently while ensuring presentation and service standards are consistently met.
- Provide attentive and personalized service throughout the guest experience.
- Upsell menu items, wines, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and side work duties.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company service standards.
- Assist teammates and support overall restaurant operations during busy services and special events.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and communicate with management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in upscale casual, fine dining, or high-volume restaurants preferred.
- Knowledge of Greek cuisine, Mediterranean wines, or Greek language is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is preferred.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude with a passion for hospitality and guest experience.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Minimum of two years experience in the restaurant industry
