Kendal at Hanover is seeking a full-time Facilities Sustainability Coordinator. The Sustainability Coordinator coordinates and facilitates programs for removal of trash, recycling, and compost from facility rooms throughout campus.
Primary roles and responsibilities include:
- Collecting, loading, and transporting waste, recycling, and compostable materials to disposals containers;
- Supporting recording of collecting data/weights to be used in process improvement activities;
- Creating tracking and maintaining existing logs for sustainability reporting to resident committees;
- Ensuring work orders are processed on time;
- Maintaining inventory and stock (in conjunction with Supervisor) of needed materials for conducting general operations and speacial programs;
- Managing the loading dock, recycling sorting and pickups, and furniture movement/disposal.
- Performing grounds maintenance tasks such as grass mowing, planting, installing signs, and general repairs as needed;
- Keeping roadways and walkways free of ice and snow;
Required Education/Experience:
- A high school degree;
- At least two years of relevant experience;
- The ability to work weekends and holidays as needed;
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to, carry, push, or pull objects weighing 50-100 pounds;
- A valid, unexpired driver's license;
- The ability to operate company vehicles and equipment.

Pay:$23.00 - $25.75 per hour, dependent on experience.
Work schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30 - 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch break).
