What You’ll Do
- Conduct diagnostic audiological evaluations on pediatric patients, including audiograms and otoacoustic emissions
- Administer specialized testing such as visual reinforcement audiometry, conditioned play audiometry, and auditory brainstem response
- Collaborate with families to explain test results and provide education on hearing health
- Make recommendations for amplification, therapy, and follow-up care
- Utilize age-appropriate communication and assessment tools
- Maintain accurate documentation, charts, and billing in compliance with facility guidelines
- Support safety, confidentiality, and quality standards in all clinical activities
- Adapt to new environments and contribute to a positive team atmosphere
What You Need
- Doctoral Degree in Audiology (AuD) required
- Active Audiology License in Texas required
- Certification through ASHA or ABA required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- 0-3 years of experience; pediatric experience/externship preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
