What You'll Do
· Prepare and cook IHOP menu items according to company recipes and quality standards
· Set up and stock workstations before each shift
· Operate grills, fryers, and other commercial kitchen equipment safely
· Prepare ingredients using proper food preparation techniques
· Ensure food is plated accurately and presented attractively
· Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen
· Monitor food quality and rotate products using proper food safety procedures
· Assist with inventory, food storage, and stock replenishment
· Work closely with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to deliver excellent guest experiences
· Follow all company policies and health department regulations
Qualifications
· Previous experience as a Cook, Line Cook, Grill Cook, Prep Cook, or Restaurant Cook preferred
· Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or kitchen environment
· Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
· Ability to safely operate commercial kitchen equipment
· Strong teamwork and communication skills
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Ability to multitask while maintaining quality and accuracy
· Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
