Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program) Case Manager to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families facing energy insecurity. Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Professional, effective communication skills.
- Ability to keep detailed documentation and always maintain courteous and professional conduct towards customers.
- General computer knowledge - Microsoft Office, Adobe and accurate data entry.
- General knowledge of Clark County social services referral network is preferred.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately.
Experience
- Proven experience working with high-risk populations in social work, behavioral health, or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to support individuals from underserved communities with compassion and cultural sensitivity.
- Conduct phone and in person interviews with customers for E-HEAP application intake and processing.
- Ensure all forms are accurately completed.
- Determine eligibility and obtain all documents for income verification.
- Monitor HEAP email and client files on HEAP server for missing documents.
- Maintain accurate on-line filing system on HEAP server. Document case notes in customer's application in database platform.
- Establish contacts with utility vendors on behalf of customers.
- Assist HEAP Director in ensuring programs are operated according to the State Guidelines.
- Follow-up and assist HEAP Director with customer inquiries and maintain customer satisfaction.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
