Dishwasher
Part-Time, flexible hours. 5-10 hrs/week, $15-18/hr
Job Overview:
Valley Catering/Blue Lid BBQ is seeking a dedicated and efficient dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, contributing to the smooth operation of our kitchen and catering events. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in a growing hospitality environment while supporting our culinary team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, etc. according to food safety requirements and properly store for future use.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas.
- Stock supplies as needed.
- Assist with loading or unloading of deliveries.
- Support food prep tasks, such as basic food handling and setup, when required.
- Assist with catering or special event setup or clean-up as needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have the following basic qualifications:
- Prior experience in food service, catering or hospitality a plus, but not mandatory.
- Able to work efficiently and maintain focus in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively in a team environment
- Must have reliable access to transportation and demonstrate ability to be punctual.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
