Reston Montessori School, Reston’s oldest Montessori School, is seeking a new team member to join our Elementary Program for the 2026/2027 school year. The Assistant Teacher will assist with classroom lessons and activities throughout the day and oversee a classroom of 1st to 3rd Grade students in the after-care program.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be flexible and work well within a team.
- Have good observational and communications skills.
- Have excellent planning and observations skills.
- Love to experiment, evaluate, and improve on everything they do.
Required qualifications include a BA in education (a background in Science a plus but not mandatory) and two+ years’ experience working with children in a classroom setting, creativity with preparing class activities and the ability to work 9:00 to 5:30 each day.
