Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial facilities, including offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas during daytime shifts
- Utilize cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure floors are properly swept, mopped, and buffed for a polished finish
- Conduct custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and surface sanitization to uphold cleanliness standards
- Assist with light maintenance duties like changing light bulbs or reporting repair needs to ensure facilities remain functional and safe
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) diligently during all cleaning activities
- Document completed tasks and report any issues or damages to supervisors promptly
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred
- Hands-on experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures necessary for effective facilities maintenance
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices or porter experience is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong work ethic with excellent time management skills to complete daily tasks efficiently

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
