Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic (Big Rigs and Trailers Mostly)
Available Immediately
Need valid driver’s license- Class A preferred
Certification as heavy diesel mechanic
Supervisor Experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Must be proficient in diesel computer troubleshoot/ diagnostics
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines and systems
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel vehicles, as well as gas to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as brakes, transmissions, fuel systems, etc.
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs and maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and inspections preformed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Self- motivation, but still able to take direction from management
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or similar role
- Strong automotive repair and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment as needed
- Familiarity with power tools and other equipment used in diesel engine repair
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience running a diesel shop (not required but a plus)
- 3+ years of experience preferred

Pay: $20- $24 per hour (depending on experience)
Monday – Sunday (6 days on, 2 days off)
Shift: Days (10-12 hour days)
