American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, Charge RN experience, and prior travel nursing experience.

13-week contract on a 29-bed Med/Surg unit serving adult through geriatric patients
-
Patient population includes orthopedic cases (total joint replacements, fracture repairs, kyphoplasties) as well as general medical/surgical and 24-hour observation patients

Telemetry monitoring available on the unit; unit also features an on-site physical therapy gym
-
Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Floating required as needed
-
Charge RN shifts required as needed
-
Epic EMR experience is mandatory
-
Active NC or Compact RN license required
-
Current BLS certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Previous travel nursing experience required

Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Copy of driver's license required for consideration

All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed; study materials will not be provided by the facility, so candidates should prepare in advance

Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
