Are you the person who refines a turning program until it sings? Do you enjoy pushing cycle times down while keeping tool life up? Can you translate GD&T from a print into a rock-solid, repeatable process? If so, join our automotive manufacturing team to program, set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment that delivers top-tier, spec-driven components.
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC lathe programs for production.
- Own setup: tooling selection, fixture installation, and dialing machine/work offsets on lathes and other machining centers.
- Run dry checks and complete first-article inspections before release to production.
- Continuously improve programs and parameters to reduce cycle time and maximize tool performance.
- Operate CNC equipment to meet production schedules and tight automotive tolerances.
- Read and apply blueprints, GD&T callouts, and technical specs.
- Audit part quality in-process using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMMs, and related metrology tools.
- Monitor operations to hold dimensional accuracy and finish requirements.
- 3+ years of CNC machining in a production setting.
- Fluent in reading blueprints, GD&T, and structured work instructions.
- G-code programming skills plus CAM experience with tools like Mastercam, Fusion 360, or Esprit.
- Direct experience on CNC lathes.
- Knowledge of tooling, feeds/speeds, and common materials (steel, aluminum, castings, etc.).
- Automotive or high-precision manufacturing background.
- Exposure to IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 systems.
