Security Operations Dispatcher / Field Coordinator
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
We are seeking a motivated and dependable NYS Licensed Security Guard to join our Operations Team. This is a unique opportunity to work in security operations and field supervision for a Long Island security company.This position is designed to develop current guards into supervisors, field managers, and operations leaders within the company for motivated individuals looking to advance their careers. This role combines office dispatch responsibilities with occasional field support, making it ideal for someone looking to expand their experience beyond traditional security guard duties.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate security personnel for client locations.
- Dispatch and communicate with field officers daily.
- Relay important site information, access credentials, vehicle assignments, and client updates to security personnel.
- Maintain accurate dispatch and daily activity logs.
- Assist with employee through the onboarding and training process.
- Coordinate coverage and emergency staffing for open shifts.
- Support daily operations and maintain quality service for our clients.
- Assist with fleet management and company equipment.
- Maintain a professional office environment for clients and staff.
- Conduct occasional field visits and provide operational support when needed.
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth day-to-day security operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Current NYS Security Guard License.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Computer and scheduling proficiency.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Dispatch, supervisory, or security operations experience is a plus.
- Flexible and willing to assist both in the office and in the field as operational needed.
