Do you enjoy cooking but haven't done it professionally yet? We are hiring and training FULL TIME and PART TIME PIZZA CHEFS and LINE COOKS now. Join our growing team and join in on the fun and pleasant work atmosphere at Colloca Estate Winery. We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, meal preparation, and kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the head chef in meal preparation and cooking tasks
- Help with food handling and storage procedures
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Contribute to catering events and special functions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Job Descriptions:
Our Pizza Chefs make dough from scratch, shape and form the dough, add toppings, and tend to our artisan pizzas in our wood fired ovens to create golden brown masterpieces you can be proud of. The job is creative and engaging.
Our Line Cooks prepare food to order using our charbroilers, fryers, and grills to create and fulfill our customers orders with a fun and exciting menu of fresh ingredients including farm to table organic vegetables from nearby farms.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a culinary role is preferred
- Knowledge of dietary department operations is a plus
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and knives
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of food service best practices
