Job Overview
We are seeking to hire friendly and reliable part-time tutors to join our educational team for the 2026-2027 school year. Our tutors must have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals through personalized instruction and support. Sessions will be conducted in clients' homes or public libraries throughout central and East Orlando.
Primary Duties:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Deliver quality instruction that aligns with client's learning goals.
- Communicate effectively with parents and supervisor by providing feedback on student progress and addressing any academic or behavioral concerns.
- Maintain a calm and positive learning environment, ensuring a productive session.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree (college students with teaching experience will be considered)
- At least one year of experience working with elementary and middle school students
- Strong communication skills to educate and engage students effectively
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Reliable transportation
- References and be able to pass a background check
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
