What You'll Do
- Provide specialized nursing care to Neuro ICU patients
- Monitor intracranial pressure, manage ventilators, and perform IV starts
- Use telemetry and intracranial pressure monitoring equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Document patient progress accurately utilizing Epic EHR system
- Float to other units of similar or lower acuity as needed
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during 12-hour shifts
What You Need
Required:
- Active Ohio RN license
- 2+ years Neuro ICU experience
- BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency with telemetry, ventilators, intracranial monitoring, IV insertion, and Epic EHR
Preferred:
- Previous travel nursing experience
