Full Job Description

WCS is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech for Local Contract at premier hospital in Mount Holly, NJ.

Job Function:

Night Shift.
5x8.
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment according to established protocols.
Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and defects before packaging and distribution.
Assemble and wrap instrument trays and surgical sets for various departments and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance.
Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., AAMI, OSHA, and CDC).

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.
Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).
Knowledge of aseptic technique, sterilization technique, infection control requirements, and a basic knowledge of med/surg procedure terminology.
1 year of Sterile Processing Tech experience is required.
