American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring an active OH or Compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience.

Acute care hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
-
May float to other med/surg and telemetry units, as well as the ED, to care for the same patient population
-
Rotating day/night shift schedule: nights 7:00 PM–7:30 AM and days 7:00 AM–7:30 PM

Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts; shift assignment may vary based on operational needs

Every other holiday coverage is required

13-week contract

Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 18 months of combined permanent (non-travel) experience in Med/Surg Telemetry, preferably within a single facility but may be combined across locations

Minimum 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience required; travel experience is acceptable for this requirement

Two professional references required for consideration

Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required to continue the assignment

Travelers who have previously worked at any Cleveland Clinic location may not return to a Cleveland Clinic assignment sooner than 6 months after their last assignment ended

Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location are limited to 18 consecutive months
