About the Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Subcontract Administrator III to support a leading aerospace organization's Supply Chain Management (SCM) team. This role plays a critical part in supporting New Product Integration (NPI) by managing the complete procurement lifecycle and partnering with engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure materials, components, and services are delivered on schedule.

What You'll Do
- Manage cradle-to-grave procurement activities, including sourcing, RFQs, negotiations, purchase orders, subcontract administration, and closeout.
- Support New Product Integration (NPI) initiatives by introducing new suppliers and components into the supply chain.
- Purchase hardware, materials, components, and services to meet production and program requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and proactively follow up on purchase orders, commitments, and delivery schedules.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks before they impact production.
- Partner with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to develop procurement strategies aligned with program objectives.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while resolving delivery or quality issues.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, terms, and conditions.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and purchasing records.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within procurement processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or subcontract administration experience.
- Aerospace industry experience is required.
- Experience managing cradle-to-grave procurement.
- Strong supplier management and follow-up skills.
- Experience working within cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Merritt Island, FL.
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable export control regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting New Product Integration (NPI).
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Costpoint.
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARS.
- Understanding of aerospace supplier quality requirements.
- Strong Excel, reporting, and procurement tracking skills.
- Experience in a high-growth manufacturing or aerospace environment.
