Plumbing Designer
Direct Hire
Location: Pewaukee, WI
Schedule: Full-time, daytime hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Pay: $95,000 - $110,000
We’re hiring a Plumbing Designer to create accurate, buildable drawings for commercial plumbing projects. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineering, sales, and field teams to take projects from initial plans through permitting and fabrication.
This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys detailed design work, solving coordination issues, and seeing their drawings turn into finished installations.
What You’ll Do
- Review project specifications, proposals, architectural plans, engineering drawings, and addendums.
- Create detailed plumbing drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate designs with internal teams and attend project meetings as needed.
- Prepare permit and plan-review documents, cut sheets, and shop fabrication drawings.
- Manage drawing revisions and maintain organized electronic project files.
- Visit local jobsites occasionally to verify conditions or better understand project requirements.
- Help improve drawing standards, templates, and design processes.
What You’ll Need
- At least 1–3 years of plumbing design or drafting experience.
- Hands-on experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience using SysQue or similar plumbing detailing software.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines independently.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
