Summary
As a Foreman at Capitol Valley Electric LLC, you will oversee commercial and multifamily construction projects in Northern, CA. This role is essential in maintaining project timelines and quality standards while fostering a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Ability to interpret specifications and read blueprints.
- Review project plans and schematics to understand project scope and requirements.
- Manage subcontractors and laborers effectively to optimize productivity.
- Order and coordinate delivery of material
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Comply with all documentation requirements and fill out all project related reports, such as: Daily Reports, Safety Reports, Inspection Reports, 2 & 3 week look ahead schedules
- Audit safe work practices, ensuring PPE is available and used properly.
- Assist superintendent in employee evaluations
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Qualifications
- Valid CA General Electrician License
- Graduate of a state approved apprenticeship program a plus
- Valid CA Driver License
- 3-5 years' experience in electrical sub-contractor supervision
- 8-10 years of experience in commercial and mixed-use buildings
- OSHA 30
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Moderate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and use of hands and arms to operate equipment. Must have a strong sense of balance and no fear of heights. Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
