Overview
We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has excellent troubleshooting skills, and is committed to providing outstanding service to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in occupied and vacant apartments.
- Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and drywall issues.
- Prepare apartments for new residents, including painting, repairs, and general make-ready work.
- Conduct preventive maintenance throughout the property.
- Maintain the grounds and common areas as needed.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls when required.
- Follow all safety policies and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Qualifications
- Previous apartment maintenance or general maintenance experience preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
