Weekend only Fri, Sat, Sun. or Sat, Sun. **Spanish Fork, Salem, Payson, & Santaquin Locations.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in home community care and possess a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by residents, particularly those with dementia. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's overall well-being.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are communicated to healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and guidelines.
- Support residents in assisted living environments, promoting independence while ensuring safety.
- Help with mobility and lifting as necessary, using proper techniques to prevent injury.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including direct support for those with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Skills
- Experience in home community care and personal care homes is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and systems for effective communication with clients experiencing cognitive decline.
- Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and administering medication safely.
- Certification in first aid is a plus, demonstrating preparedness for emergencies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
- Ability to lift clients safely and assist them with mobility challenges.
- Familiarity with assisted living environments and direct support practices is beneficial.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
