POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the complete care of Parsonage buildings, equipment and landscaping
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Mowing, weeding, edging, fertilizing, insect treatment and watering of parsonage property.

Tree trimming.
-
Maintain landscaping, flower gardens, shrubs, vegetable gardens, orchards, etc.
-
Operate light duty equipment.
-
Maintenance of landscape equipment.
-
Installment and maintenance of plant materials (trees, grass, shrubs, bedding, etc) and hardscape (walls, edging, etc)
-
Repair and maintenance of parsonage property, outbuildings and grounds.
-
Miscellaneous labor (such as cleaning porches, walkways, driveways, garages, boats soffits, trash removal, etc)
Requirements:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:
-
High School diploma or equivalent.
-
5 years’ experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-
Working knowledge of maintenance and installing irrigation systems.
-
Working knowledge of soil and lawn conditions.
-
Able to work alone with minimal supervision.
-
Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines
-
Available on call 24 hours a day
EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:
-
Tractors, mowers, edger’s, weed-eaters, saws and various hand tools.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
-
Able to lift 75 to 100 pounds
-
Able to work in extreme weather conditions (hot/cold)
TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS:

Produce quality work and accept changes in production and timelines.

Keep an eye on all plants for health conditions and determine watering, fertilizer and chemical applications schedule.
