We are hiring an R&D Technician to join our Engineering team!
DISCOVER
Are you hands-on, curious, and energized by figuring out how things work? As an R&D Technician, you’ll play a key role in bringing new products to life through testing, data analysis, and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams. This role supports product development efforts for Sauna360, where you’ll help test and validate sauna heaters and related components to ensure they meet performance, safety, and reliability standards. You’ll spend much of your time in the lab conducting tests, documenting results, and ensuring products are ready to move confidently into production.
You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams—helping answer production questions, support bill of material updates, and contribute to technical documentation and testing standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build hands-on technical expertise. You’ll start by learning lab operations and testing standards, then progress to running live product tests and ultimately operating independently within the lab environment.
YOUR RIPPLE EFFECT
- Do you enjoy hands-on product testing and validation? Perform laboratory testing on sauna heaters and related components, following established standards and procedures while ensuring tests are executed accurately, safely, and consistently to validate product performance and reliability.
- Are you detail-oriented when documenting and analyzing results? Capture, analyze, and document test data with precision, ensuring results are clearly recorded, easy to interpret, and aligned with quality and engineering expectations for ongoing product development.
- Do you like working at the intersection of engineering and manufacturing? Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support design updates, answer manufacturing questions, and assist with bill of material changes that help move products from development into production.
- Are you interested in how products evolve from concept to reality? Support new product development through hands-on testing, design input, and participation in cross-functional projects that improve product performance, manufacturability, and overall quality.
- Can you manage technical documentation and ensure accuracy? Assist with document control for product manuals, inspection procedures, and work instructions, while reviewing drawings and technical materials to confirm completeness and accuracy.
- Do you enjoy troubleshooting and solving technical problems? Apply electrical and mechanical knowledge to identify issues, interpret test data, and support resolution efforts, helping ensure products meet required specifications and standards.
- Are you motivated to learn and grow into independent ownership? Build your expertise by learning lab operations and testing standards, progressing to running live product tests, and ultimately operating independently in the lab environment within your first several months.
