Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks, following established recipes and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
- Support food running and serving duties to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing dishes to keep the dining area tidy and welcoming.
- Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting safely when moving supplies or equipment around the kitchen.
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and transactions accurately.
- Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety practices.
- Ability to perform manual tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting techniques.
- Experience with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus.
- Customer service skills with an energetic attitude towards guest satisfaction.
- Willingness to learn new culinary techniques and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.
