Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to enhance their comfort and dignity
- Support medication administration and monitor vital signs to ensure health and safety compliance
- Implement behavior management strategies and provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or cognitive disabilities
- Engage residents in meaningful activities, social interactions, and community outings to promote mental stimulation and well-being
- Follow safe patient lifting practices and manual handling procedures to prevent injury during transfers or mobility assistance
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, resident progress, and any incidents or changes in condition
- Uphold cleanliness standards through light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and preparing nutritious meals
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, memory care, dementia care, and geriatrics enhances your ability to support residents effectively
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; ongoing training in safe patient lifting practices is a plus
- Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles for community outings or appointments
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with residents, families, and team members
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely throughout your shift

Pay: $16.50 - $16.90 per hour
