Lead Preschool Teacher

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher who loves Jesus, delights in working with young children, and is committed to creating a nurturing, engaging learning environment where students can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
Position Summary
The Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating a Christ-centered classroom that fosters curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. The ideal candidate will cultivate meaningful relationships with students and families while providing developmentally appropriate instruction that supports the whole child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging learning experiences for preschool students.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom environment.
- Support students' academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development.
- Integrate biblical truth and a Christian worldview throughout daily instruction and activities.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required reporting through FACTS.
Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- ACSI certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience teaching preschool-aged children preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Proficiency with educational technology and digital communication tools.
Spiritual Qualities:
- Personal faith in Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with biblical principles.
- Agreement with and support of the school's Statement of Faith.
- Active involvement in a Bible-believing local church.
- Commitment to serving as a Christian role model for students and families.
Physical Requirements:
- The school is a multi-level facility that requires the teacher to negotiate flights of stairs regularly and to walk around the buildings and grounds for supervision.
- Candidates must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, operate office equipment with dexterity, and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Occasionally, the teacher must work longer hours than a typical day for events such as back-to-school night, parent-teacher conferences, team meetings, open houses, graduation, or other evening meetings/functions.
Pay: $35,000.00 - $37,000.00 per year
