Job Description: Experienced Remodeling Foreman / Lead Carpenter (1099 Contract)
Pay: $50–$100/hour (Contract / 1099)
MPS Contracting is looking for an experienced Remodeling Foreman to lead high-end residential renovation projects from start to finish.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, communicates well with homeowners, and can keep projects moving efficiently while coordinating subcontractors and labor.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of residential remodeling experience.
- Extensive experience completing kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, and general renovations.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of carpentry and remodeling tasks at a high level.
- Experience managing subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and job sequencing.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Professional communication with clients and team members.
- Reliable transportation and a work truck.
- Own professional-grade tools to complete most remodeling tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Run residential remodeling projects from demolition through final punch list.
- Perform hands-on carpentry and finish work when needed.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors.
- Maintain job quality, cleanliness, and safety.
- Order and organize materials.
- Communicate project updates with management and homeowners.
- Identify issues before they become problems.
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet MPS quality standards.

Compensation:
$50–$100/hour depending on experience and capabilities.
