Lakeshore Behavior Consulting is hiring a School Psychologist to support a K–8 school district in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, near Tinley Park, IL.
This is a school-based, evaluation-focused position within a collaborative team environment supporting students, staff, and families.

Position Overview
This role is primarily focused on psychoeducational assessments, report writing, and eligibility determination. You will work closely with school teams to support special education decision-making and ensure timely, high-quality evaluations.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychoeducational evaluations (cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments)
- Writing clear, timely evaluation reports
- Participating in IEP and eligibility meetings
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and related service providers
- Supporting compliance with special education timelines and requirements
This position is evaluation-focused, with minimal counseling or direct intervention responsibilities.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with psychoeducational evaluations and report writing
- Knowledge of special education eligibility and IEP processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology (or equivalent)
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
New graduates with School Psychology credentials are encouraged to apply.

- $60–$75/hour, based on experience and assignment
