Summary:
To analyze, adjust and approve colored concentrate within Badger Color and/or Customer’s specifications for sample and production orders.
Essential Duties:
- Read a Batch Ticket to determine how to process order and fulfill color/customer requirements.
- Weigh up concentrate and make color chips by operating molding machine, roll mill, or press out machine
- Evaluate color and quality through use of visual assessment and/or the spectrophotometer, get second opinion (final auditor or manager) in cases of uncertainty.
- Discern color differences and adjust out of spec colors by using the spectrophotometer software, lab shots, historical corrections and experience.
