Legacy Academy has 3 NAEYC accredited childcare centers in the Upstate of South Carolina. We are seeking candidates that love teaching children and enjoy making a difference in children’s lives. Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school diploma (Associates degree, or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or in the process of obtaining.)
2. Demonstrates understanding of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practice.
3. Displays positive interpersonal skills, as well as critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain a positive reputation and image with the community creating and promoting a positive professional relationship with the Director, Assistant Director, Owner, Staff, and families.
2. Plan activities to meet the needs of the individual children; activities which are designed to ensure success, based on a positive foundation for growth and development.
3. Plan, supervise, and implement programs for children in accordance with Legacy Academy's policies and procedures.
4. Provide a model classroom environment by incorporating best practices.
5. Participate in regularly scheduled and informal conferences with parents.
6. Participate in regular and ongoing child care training.
7. Any and all other duties as assigned by the Director or the Assistant Director.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
