Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor dogs in a daycare setting to ensure their safety and well-being
- Engage in playtime activities with the dogs, including interactive games and exercise
- Provide basic grooming services such as brushing, bathing, and nail trimming
- Clean and maintain the daycare facility, including sanitizing play areas and restrooms
- Assist with feeding and administering medications to dogs as needed
- Interact with customers and provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with dogs in a professional or volunteer capacity is preferred
- Knowledge of dog behavior and the ability to recognize signs of aggression or distress
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds, including those with special needs or behavioral issues
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both customers and team members
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) when necessary
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
