COIT Cleaning & Restoration of Tampa Bay is looking for a motivated, dependable, and sales-driven Service Technician to join our growing team. This is a commission-based position, with earning potential tied to the amount of work performed and services sold.

Desired Education Level
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Additional technical, trade, cleaning, restoration, or sales training is a plus.
Experience
- Previous experience in carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, air duct cleaning, restoration, or a related service industry is preferred but not required.
- Previous sales or customer service experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience working directly with customers in their homes or businesses is a plus.
- Training may be provided to the right candidate.
Essential Functions
- Travel to residential and commercial customer locations throughout the Tampa Bay area.
- Inspect the customer's cleaning needs and recommend appropriate COIT services and solutions.
- Present pricing, explain available services, and obtain customer approval before beginning work.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional services that would benefit the customer.
- Perform professional cleaning services according to COIT standards and procedures.
- Operate professional cleaning and restoration equipment.
- Move and manipulate furniture and equipment as necessary to complete services.
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and supplies in clean and professional condition.
- Complete required paperwork, customer authorizations, payments, and job documentation.
- Deliver excellent customer service from arrival through completion of the job.
Position Summary
The Service Technician is both a service professional and salesperson. Technicians are responsible for evaluating customer needs, recommending appropriate cleaning services, completing the work professionally, and providing an excellent customer experience.
Because compensation is commission-based, successful technicians have the opportunity to increase their income by generating higher service volume, identifying additional cleaning needs, and providing customers with appropriate solutions.
Services may include:
- Carpet cleaning
- Upholstery cleaning
- Tile and grout cleaning
- Natural stone cleaning and polishing
- Air duct cleaning
- Dryer vent cleaning
- Hardwood and other specialty cleaning
- Additional cleaning and restoration services
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable discussing pricing and selling additional services to customers.
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily service schedule.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and company vehicles.
- Ability to follow company procedures and safety requirements.
- Must be comfortable working in residential and commercial environments.

Physical Demands
This is a physically demanding position. The employee must be able to:
- Regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull.
- Carry cleaning equipment, hoses, tools, and supplies.
- Lift, move, or manipulate equipment and furniture weighing approximately 100 pounds.
- Work on stairs and in a variety of residential and commercial environments.
- Perform physical work for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Work in both indoor and outdoor conditions as required by the service being performed.
Compensation
Commission-based compensation based on work performed, sales, and production volume.
