We are seeking a personable and dedicated Women's Clothing Retail Sales Associate to join our growing family business team. The associate is responsible for maintaining a high degree of customer service, responding to customer inquiries and selling company products to customers. A successful candidate will maintain knowledge of the product lines and merchandising trends, and must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Past retail experience is required.
Along with overall sales responsibilities, this associate will also dedicate approximately 10 hours/week to our website & social media through content creation to support our Social Media Manager. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable on camera, loves social media, and is excited to contribute to our boutique’s online presence. You’ll work closely with our Social Media Manager to create fresh, engaging content from inside the store. You’ll also assist with writing and creating SMS and email campaigns that reflect our brand voice and keep our audience engaged.
Sales Responsibilities:
- Greet & assist customers with styling, and finding merchandise they're looking for.
- Manage existing and incoming inventory - unboxing, tagging and steaming.
- Data entry in POS system.
- Add items (description & photos) to website.
- Pack and ship online orders.
- Handle cash register transactions.
- Clean and restock store displays and shelves.
- Maintain overall store cleanliness.
- Share current and upcoming event information.
- Assist and communicate with store manager.
- Daily social media management - stories, try ons, answering messages.
- Create floor sets and merchandising displays.
- Maintain professional appearance - general hygiene and company standard of dress.
Social Media Support Responsibilities (approx 10 hours/week):
- Film content in-store using an iPhone (product showcases, styling videos, behind-the-scenes, etc.)
- Be willing and comfortable appearing on camera and talking in videos
- Collaborate with our Social Media Manager on ideas, trends, and content planning
- Capture authentic moments and help bring the brand’s voice to life
- Help with quick edits or uploads as needed (no heavy editing required)
- Assist in writing short-form marketing content for SMS and email campaigns
- Ensure SMS/email copy is clear, on-brand, and aligned with promotions or new arrivals.
Social Media Support Requirements:
- Experience or comfort filming with an iPhone for platforms like Instagram and TikTok
- Outgoing personality and strong communication skills
- Willingness to be on camera and represent the boutique
- Passion for fashion and social media trends
- Availability to work in-store and coordinate with the social media team
- Prior content creation experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong writing skills and attention to brand voice

Pay: $32,000.00 per year
