Mechanical/Process Engineer
Theta Technologies Inc. has a potential opening for a Mechanical/Process Engineer to provide engineering services to assigned engineering teams. Engineering support services include engineering analysis, design development and generation of design output documents including but not limited to: Process Flow; Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams; System Descriptions; Mechanical Equipment Lists; Mechanical Equipment, Pipe, and Valve Specifications; Failure Analysis; Accident Analysis; Finite Element Analysis; ASME Code Design and Evaluation; Pipe Stress Analysis; Material Handling Design; Fire Protection Design; HVAC Design; and Vendor Document Reviews.
Qualifications Required:
- BS Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Candidate must demonstrate five (5) years design experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry.
- Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of ASME B31.3 code requirements.
- Candidate demonstrating experience in 2D Microstation Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) is preferred.
- Candidate must have the ability to walk down systems in the field.
- Candidate must be able to obtain an L clearance if required to perform assigned duties.
