Kreis' Steakhouse is a renowned fine dining establishment in St. Louis for over 75 years, known for its exceptional steaks, exquisite dining experience, and commitment to providing outstanding customer service. We are seeking a motivated, professional, and personable individual to join our team as a barback.
Responsibilities
- Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and bar supplies throughout service
- Keep ice bins stocked
- Polish and restock glassware
- Wash bar glasses and maintain a clean work area
- Assist bartenders with guest service needs
- Bus and reset bar seating as needed
- Run food to bar guests
- Remove trash and cardboard throughout the shift
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar area
- Work closely with bartenders and managers to ensure exceptional guest experiences
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a full-service restaurant or bar preferred
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable with excellent attendance
- Team player with a willingness to learn
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and move quickly throughout the shift
