Sure Shot Tap House isn't your typical restaurant.
We're a self-pour tap house, restaurant, entertainment venue and event destination that hosts more than 700 private events each year. As our food program continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced kitchen leader to help take it to the next level.
This is a newly created leadership position with an opportunity to make a real impact. If you're someone who enjoys improving systems, training employees, leading by example, and helping build something special, we'd love to talk with you.
This Is a Working Manager Position
We're a small business with a close-knit team, so we're looking for someone who enjoys being part of the action.
You'll be in the kitchen during service, training employees, preparing food, supporting the front of house, solving problems, and helping the entire operation run smoothly.
What You'll Do
Kitchen Leadership
- Lead daily operations while working scheduled kitchen shifts
- Cook and prepare food during service
- Train and mentor kitchen employees
- Continue improving and growing our food program
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Manage food ordering, inventory, and food costs
Operations Leadership
- Recruit, hire, train, and coach employees
- Create staff schedules
- Support front of house operations
- Manage food, alcohol, and supply inventories
- Utilize POS reporting to improve business performance
- Partner with our Catering & Events Manager to support more than 700 private events each year
- Continuously improve efficiency throughout the business

Qualifications
- Commercial kitchen leadership experience required
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager, Lead Cook, Sous Chef, Restaurant Manager, or similar role preferred
- Experience training kitchen employees
- Strong understanding of food costs, inventory management, and kitchen operations
- Comfortable using technology and POS systems
- ServSafe Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Nights and weekends are required
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting at $20/hour based on experience
- Eligible for tip share
- Managers currently average an additional $15–20/hour in tips, bringing average total earnings to approximately $35–40/hour
- Opportunity to help shape a growing food program
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
