Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Auto Body, Hot Rod Builder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel alignment, sanding, and finishing to restore vehicles to pristine condition.
- Fabricate custom parts and modify existing components using sheet metal, MIG welding, soldering, and other fabrication techniques.
- Build and assemble hot rods from concept to completion, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic excellence.
- Use power tools, hand tools, airless paint sprayers, and welding equipment safely and effectively during all phases of construction and repair.
- Apply auto paint and auto glass installation with attention to detail for flawless finishes.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical adjustments, auto restoration processes, and auto painting to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with clients or team members on project specifications, providing expert advice on auto estimating and vehicle customization options.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair and customization.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, welding techniques, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for various fabrication tasks.
- Knowledge of auto body repair processes including auto painting, auto glass installation, and detailing.
- Experience with auto restoration projects and vehicle assembly from scratch or parts.
- Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service principles related to automotive projects.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision in detailed work such as auto finishing or glass installation.
