We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant – Mohs & General Dermatology to join our West Palm Beach office.
This position is ideal for a Medical Assistant with a strong dermatology background and hands-on Mohs surgery experience. You will support providers in both general dermatology and Mohs surgery, providing clinical assistance throughout the patient’s visit.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working as part of a close-knit clinical team, and has a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Welcome patients, obtain medical histories, and prepare patients for examinations and procedures

Assist providers with general dermatology visits, biopsies, excisions, and other procedures

Assist with Mohs surgery and surgical procedures
-
Prepare patients and surgical rooms for Mohs procedures
-
Assist with sterile technique and maintain a clean, organized surgical field
-
Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and post-operative instructions
-
Scribe for providers and accurately document patient information in EMA/Modernizing Medicine

Support providers during examinations, procedures, and additional testing

Maintain, clean, disinfect, and restock exam and procedure rooms
-
Prepare instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures

Previous Medical Assistant experience required

Previous hands-on Mohs experience is required

Dermatology Medical Assistant experience strongly preferred

Experience assisting with biopsies, excisions, wound care, and other dermatologic procedures

Strong understanding of Mohs surgery and surgical workflow

Experience with EMA/Modernizing Medicine strongly preferred

Comfortable working in both general dermatology and Mohs surgery

Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
