Join our dedicated team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) providing in-home behavioral services in. This vital role involves delivering evidence-based interventions to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), to promote meaningful progress across communication, social, and daily living skills. As an RBT, you will work closely with clients, families, and a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement personalized care plans rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Duties
- Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols designed by supervising BCBA to support clients’ developmental goals
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene, fostering independence
- Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Support clients in managing behaviors through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques
- Maintain detailed medical documentation and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies
- Communicate regularly with clients’ families and caregivers about progress, challenges, and next steps in therapy plans
- Follow ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while delivering direct behavioral services
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and implementing ABA therapy protocols
- Experience assisting with ADLs and supporting behavior management in home-based settings or schools
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, and medical documentation standards including HIPAA compliance
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with families and team members
- Ability to work independently within a structured environment while adhering to care plans and organizational policies
- Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities through compassionate care and professional integrity
