The Senior Credit Analyst is primarily responsible for managing a pipeline of applications delivered to Origence for underwriting, negotiating, processing, and capturing loan opportunities. Additionally, the Senior Credit Analyst supports management in the oversight and development of the applicable programs and staff necessary to achieve strategic goals. Leading by example, the Senior Credit Analyst will maintain a high level of professionalism and exceptional service with our lenders and dealerships, as well a variety of internal and external partners.

How You'll Contribute:
Underwriting and Loan Origination activities
- Develop relationships and effectively communicate with all stakeholders involved in the origination of loans and leases across the CUDC network.
- Review credit applications across all CUDC platforms and render sound decisions within defined authority granted by CUDC lenders. Ensure that all relevant information is captured and assessed to render the best possible decision on behalf of CUDC clients. Appropriately document all relevant details and rationale for decisions.
- Follow up with lenders, applicants, and origination sources (e.g. dealers) to ensure that all relevant information and documentation is completed in accordance with lender guidance, and to ensure that CUDC maximizes the share of loans funded to approved opportunities for its lenders.
Assist management team with ongoing efforts and special projects related to training, implementations, systems, testing, quality assurance, staffing optimization, process improvements and documentation.
Create, manage, and analyze reports and metrics to effectively manage application pipelines, operational efficiencies, service levels, and value for CUDC clients and partners.
Actively contribute on cross-functional projects within the organization and with external stakeholders as a subject matter expert in credit analysis and loan originations on behalf of the BPO function for CU Direct.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent mix of education and relevant experience required.
Experience
- Ten years of credit analysis/underwriting experience in within a financial institution or equivalent provider is required.
- Proven experience working in a capacity where conflicting objectives (e.g. risk vs growth or speed vs quality) must be balanced and effectively managed.
- Knowledge of lending operations, regulatory compliance and indirect auto lending experience is required. Additional lending experience (leasing, mortgage, retail finance, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience adjacent to underwriting (e.g. processing, funding, QA, etc.) is a plus.

Recognizing Your Impact
The starting salary range for this full-time position is $56150 - $66560 per year. We offer competitive compensation designed to recognize the value, experience, and contributions each team member brings to Origence. Base pay is determined by factors including experience, geographic location, and internal equity, and eligible positions may participate in our annual bonus program.
