Compensation: $115,000-$150,000 base salary, before bonuses and allowances

Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager in both Chicago and Minneapolis to lead roadway and transportation design projects, primarily for MnDOT, IDOT and Illinois Tollway clients. This individual will oversee project delivery, manage client relationships, mentor staff, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

Illinois PE license required

10+ years of transportation design experience

Experience managing transportation infrastructure projects

Strong knowledge of MnDOT or IDOT and Illinois Tollway standards

Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, ProjectWise, AutoTURN, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office

Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills
Key Responsibilities

Lead transportation and roadway design projects from planning through delivery

Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and financial performance

Oversee design teams and mentor engineering staff

Coordinate with clients, agencies, and subconsultants

Prepare proposals, contracts, reports, and project documentation

Ensure QA/QC standards and regulatory compliance

Participate in business development and client relationship management
