About Mojo Coffee
Mojo Coffee is a fast-paced specialty New Zealand café with 3 locations in the Chicago Loop. We’re looking for hardworking, dependable team members who enjoy customer service, teamwork, and learning all areas of café operations.
Job Description
Starting out, you will be:
- Taking customer orders
- Running drinks and food
- Washing dishes and maintaining cleanliness
- Putting away deliveries and orders
- Assisting with café opening/closing duties
We provide training on espresso bar and kitchen stations. *Every employee is trained to handle all areas of the café, so applicants must be comfortable working both kitchen and bar positions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- POS/register experience preferred
- Able to show up on time and start work as early as 6:30am
- Able to lift and carry supplies as needed
- Comfortable standing for up to 8 hours
- General food knowledge
- General espresso/coffee knowledge
- Must have previous food/service industry experience
