Police Officer (Part-Time) - Apple Creek Police Department
The Apple Creek Police Department is accepting applications. We are seeking dedicated, professional individuals who are committed to serving the community. Our department holds community policing as a core value, and applicants must have a desire to build positive relationships with residents, businesses, and community organizations.
As a Police Officer, your responsibilities will include maintaining public safety and providing proactive patrol. Officers are expected to respond to emergency calls, investigate incidents, and enforce state and local laws while promoting public safety and community trust.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current OPOTA Peace Officer Certification
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License
- Ability to pass a thorough background investigation and drug test
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Military or prior law enforcement experience is highly valued
- Skilled in conflict management and de-escalation
- Ability to accept constructive feedback, adapt as needed, and work effectively as part of a team
