Sweet Spirits is seeking a nurturing, reliable Infant Teacher to care for children ages 0 – 18 months. This role focuses on responsive caregiving, safety, and connection, creating a calm and loving environment where infants feel secure and supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, soothing, and sleep routines
- Follow individualized schedules based on each child’s needs
- Maintain active supervision at all times
- Follow strict safe sleep practices (back to sleep, empty cribs, five-minute frequent documented checks)
- Support early development through talking, singing, reading, and sensory play
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Communicate daily with families in a warm and professional manner
- Must be able to work on Fridays
Qualifications
- Experience with infants (0 – 18 months) preferred
- Knowledge of safe sleep and infant care best practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Dependable, calm, and attentive
- Ability to start soon
