Solutions Architect (Finance focused) Rate – 130-140hr W2 Length – 6-month C2H Hybrid role – M, T, W onsite, WFH Thu & Fri Location – Houston, Texas 77077 Job Description: We are seeking a Finance Technology Solution Architect to bridge the gap between Finance, Engineering, Product, and Business teams, driving the modernization and simplification of enterprise finance technology platforms. This individual will define technical strategy, architect scalable solutions, and lead initiatives focused on improving financial operations through automation, cloud technologies, and AI-driven workflows. Key Responsibilities • Partner with Finance, Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to develop and execute a long-term finance technology strategy aligned with organizational goals. • Design and implement scalable solution architectures that simplify and modernize existing finance systems and applications. • Evaluate current-state architecture and identify opportunities to improve performance, integration, automation, and user experience. • Lead digital transformation initiatives focused on AI-driven workflows, process automation, and data-driven decision-making within Finance. • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation roadmaps. • Drive integration strategies across ERP, financial systems, data platforms, and enterprise applications. • Provide architectural guidance for cloud-based technologies, enterprise platforms, and emerging AI capabilities. • Partner with executive leadership to align technology investments with business objectives and financial operations. Qualifications • Experience as a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, Finance Systems Architect, or Technology Architect supporting Finance organizations. • Strong ability to interface with executive leadership, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams. • Experience modernizing legacy finance technology environments and simplifying complex system architectures. • Background implementing or supporting ERP, financial management, and enterprise technology platforms. • Experience with AI, automation, workflow optimization, and digital transformation initiatives. • Strong understanding of enterprise integrations, cloud technologies, APIs, and data architecture. • Workday experience is highly preferred, particularly within Finance, HR, or enterprise platform environments.
