We have an open position for a spokane based truck driver.
Looking for a driver to do long haul trips, and possibly some regional work in between trips
Equipment will be a sleeper cab, and 53ft dry van and reefer trailers
Duties
- Operate tractor-trailer units in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and deliveries made.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and operational standards.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years CDL Experience.
- 53ft trailer and sleeper truck combo experience.
- Basic knowledge of of to keep a logbook
- A friendly attitude to coworkers and customers
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on the road.
